An important friendship at the heart of the movie that tells the true story about the letters of Yaguine and Fodè – two Guinean adolescents who, in 1999, wrote on behalf of all African children a letter addressed to “The Excellences and heads of Europe”, in which they asked help to have schools, food, medicine – and face extremely current issues such as exploited baby football players versus to a healthy and clean football, a friendship that goes beyond all barriers, Africa and its difficulties, but also its beauty, its joy and values, emigration, tie right and possibility of children and young people to live in a ”better world”.
Two different stories are intertwined in the movie and only after some time is the element that unites these two stories revealed; The end of the movie, despite the tragic death of Yaguine and Fodè, leaves a message of hope for the future.
