A selection of Italian films, on Wednesdays evenings in the library of the Italian Cultural Institute
Adapted from the book by Sandro Veronese, this is the story of Mate and Belinda: the only thing they have in common is their father. Mete, a young and expert graphologist, Belinda an evasive teen ager, have never seen each other before, but they are now forced to spend a week under the same roof, just before their parents’ wedding. The city of Rome, chaotic and surprising, is the background to their generation of “sfiorati”: those who are given everything but never really manage to grab anything.
