The parties there are always extremely popular.

15th August is a very popular holiday in Italy, the whole country pretty much shuts down to go to the beach, mountain or out of town.

Italians in London have traditionally celebrated this date in London on the nearest Friday, which happens to be 16th August on this occasion.
