CONCERT: Celebrating the Italian song

Ten years ago the last “Pavarotti and Friends” was performed in Modena, Italy.

Ten years later, taking this stunning experience of contamination between classical singers and popular music as a starting point ARMONIA MEDITERRANEA is delighted to present in London the concert:

"CELEBRANDO LA CANZONE ITALIANA"

a mix of Italian traditional songs performed by eminent Mediterranean tenors and sopranos.

The cast includes Antonio Pappano Riccio conductor and Piano player and the tenors: Gianni Leccese, Domenico Colonna, Yuri Sabatini, Fernando Messulam and the sopranos: Angela Cuoccio and Christina Petrou. All is put in music by The Patrick Noronha Orchestra.

Works by Mascagni, Bixio, Di Capua, Tosti , Murolo e Tagliaferri.

The location is the magic St Peter’s Italian Church on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of his consecration.

The concert is non-profit and aims to raise funds to keep the musical life of the church alive.
