Carlo Goldoni’s Trilogia della villeggiatura, directed and interpreted by Toni Servillo, has traveled to Berlin, Moscow, Paris, Madrid, Istanbul and New York during its four year international tour. This movie tells the story of theatre, the backstage, the rehearsals, but also the ever day life, outside the theatres, exploring different cities and cultures, living the private life of the actors with their troubles and achievements. Just like in real life, the show must go on and the story builds up the life of the actors and their characters on stage.
