The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK invites Italian wine producers and UK wine buyers to take part in “Vinoteca 2014”,an exclusive event, dedicated to the promotion of Italian wines in the UK.

The exhibition Veronese – Magnificence in Renaissance Venice, which opens at the National Gallery on 19 March, is the first major show devoted to this, one of the great artists of the sixteenth century. It covers the entirety of his career with magnificent loans from important collections in Europe and the United States.

In 1891 Pellegrino Artusi published a recipe book called Science in the Kitchen and the Art of Eating Well which he would continue to work on for twenty years, with subsequent additions and amendments made with the help of his male and female readership. In part owing to the “inclusive” spirit of the work, the book was a huge publishing success in the twentieth century.
