“Le Dame, Made by Italians” the first Gallery in London for Italian Arts & Crafts

“Le Dame, Made by Italians” is now officially opened. The Gallery is located at 28 Powis Terrace, in Notting Hill, hosting fine Italian Arts, Crafts & Design

Made by Italians is the first Gallery opened by Le Dame, an innovative Company born to promote talented artists, which aims to become Londoners first choice for Italian luxury products of outstanding manufacture.

A Gallery to show not only painting, photography or sculpture but also an incredible variety of handmade masterpieces of the Italian traditional craftsmanship like ceramic, mosaic, jewel, fashion, glass, bags.

Among the artists present at the opening, Giulio Mazzarini – Photographer, working for clients such as Vanity Fair, Vogue and  L'Oreal. Rione Carducci, supreme quality yarns, chosen among names like Zegna Baruffa, Iafil, Cariaggi and the finest Cachemire made only in artisanal Italian workshops. Dino Maccini, is an artist who proposes a craft of great expressiveness, with the inspiration and skill of the ancient mosaic masters, among his works "Velata Madre" in collaboration with Giorgio Groppi, a bronze sculpture of which there are only two copies, one on display at Made by Italians and the other in the Vatican, the bust was donated in June of 2012 by Federcofit to Pope Benedict XVI.

All the works and masterpieces of Italian craftsmanship chosen by Le Dame are unique pieces: sculptures by Antonella Tanzini and Marco Donnarumma, Jewel by Roberto Baffigo or MariaGreca, Bags by Federica Berardelli, Haute-couture by Anna Coluccia and Milby, ceramics and glass by Ceramica Mileto and Studio Forme, to the wrought iron works by Maurizio D’Onorio
